If you are a blogger, podcaster, music, or other user of a media source that requires high-speed, I highly recommend that look the other way if deciding whether or not to use Cincopa.com’s Content Delivery Network (CDN). For those of you that are just getting into any of these means of publishing content, there are [...]

For the more advanced user, this post may or may not raise some degree of awareness where website speed and security are concerned. Some do not even understand exactly how their content is found by search engines and then cached (also called indexing). While the algorithms of what information is important, duplicate, or other specific [...]

Some how, some way, I will find a way to stir up a little (or a lot) of fuss. This comes as no surprise to those that know me. For those that do not, I have been doing content writing and professional SEO services for a number of years now. I have experienced every kind of website, content management systems, and sites that, well…..ugh! Tough hills to climb. To this day, my SEO Firm has yet to fail to get any website on Google’s page one…..ever.

I have been dealing with affiliate marketing and management for some time now. It seems the longer you do something in life, and the more common-place the concepts become to you as a professional, the more you expect others around you to understand the same at your level. You never want to approach someone as if they are completely ignorant (stupid is a better word), nor do you want to get frustrated because you made assumptions of their knowledge of a subject (or lack there-of). The term Web 2.0 was coined in 1999 by Darcy DiNucci, a consultant on electronic information design in her article “Fragmented Future” and became closely associated with Tim O’Reilly who used it in a Media Web 2.0 conference in 2004 to describe the future, as he saw it, of the World Wide Web. The term, seen by many as misleading, stuck. Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the web, labeled the term “a piece of jargon.” Although the term Web 2.0 implies a new or updated version of the World Wide Web this couldn’t be further from the truth. There were, and have not been, any technical updates to the Web.

Personal Branding… What Is This?

October 12, 2011

In essence, personal branding is the process by which business people differentiate themselves by identifying and effectively articulating what makes them different or unique from their competitors – what makes them stand out from the crowd – a sort of personal USP (Unique Selling Proposition), if you will. This is especially important if you’re a service provider in a competitive field.

Are Premium WordPress Themes Really Necessary?

October 9, 2011

Many people think that premium WordPress themes cannot do anything for them and then proceed to spend time and money creating a theme that had already been created and offered as a premium theme. It’s important before even considering creating a new theme to know what other themes have already been designed that could be modified slightly for your use.
